The Bell
A bell may be rung to signal the beginning and ending of a ritual. It also may ward off negativity and can be used to banish unwanted energies from your circle or sacred space. It can also be used evoke good energies. Vibrations are released when a bell is rung. The effects differ, depending on the tone, volume, and material of the bell. Any type of bell may be used, some Witches use Tibetan singing bowls to good effect. Because of its usual shape the bell tends to be considered a feminine symbol. It can be used to evoke the Goddess during ritual.
