Aries Full Moon - "Fresh Perspective": One of the benefits of travel is that when we come home again, we sometimes can see what we have returned to with a new perspective. Suddenly, things we've lived with for so long we could no longer see them now they stand out sharply for our close examination. Sometimes we like what we see; other times, not. Regardless of the view, we know our day-to-day existence in a new way. Armed with this new and clear knowledge, we can move toward a daily life that is more harmonious with our wishes.
Taurus Full Moon - "Recovering Trust": Like a hummingbird sipping one lovely flower after another, this essence finds no end of delight. For these is no end to the opportunity, creativity, grace, and support we get from the material world. Since the challenges in every life bring loss and sorrow, staying in touch with the great possibilities is imperative. Learning to risk again after grief has stopped us short is important to the recovery process. Regaining a sense of plenty may only need the courage to trust again.
Gemini Full Moon - "Under the Surface": Having risen up from the most concealed subterranean haunts, thoughts, feelings, ideas, inspiration, memories or talents may lie just beneath the surface. Not buried deeply, but not yet readily available, they tease us with flashes of their presence, then back into hiding. This essence understands how to gently birth what lies just under the surface. As it bubbles up into the light, we become more clear and purposeful. We also get the chance to use and integrate what was hidden into our conscious lives.
Cancer Full Moon - "Get Down to Business": This essence is generous and embracing; comforting and forthright; confident and secure. It is ready to gets things done without a fuss or need to procrastinate...no more waiting...just do it! It gets down to its business of organizing and clearing the decks without being overbearing, perfectionistic, or rigid. It brings a firm and nurturing hand to activity and action.
Leo Full Moon- "Power Cleansing": The energies of this essence are driven, forward-moving, action-oriented, precise. There is also something very calming, almost dispassionate about this essence. But, don't mistake dispassion for lack of response. This essence knows how to clear away the debris of the past: old patterns, trauma, emotions. It is dispassionate because the job must be done and there is no cause for alarm or worry about the process. And in this transformative process, previously hidden qualities emerge from the depths. It is like stripping away layers of old and peeling paint to reveal the new, fresh wood beneath.
Virgo Full Moon - "Divine Mission": This essence is on a mission: a mission filled with Divine purpose and spiritual power. Yet at the same time it has a definite softness, warmth and calmness to it. Together, these two principles permit the taking on of great tasks without fear of their difficulty. The transformative focus of this essence brings spiritual energies into the physical world in an easy, natural and gentle manner. There is a brightness to the senses...a lightness, too. The chest and heart are open, the head is clear and high, the spine relaxed, the voice steady. The body is freed to express the soul's intent without distraction.
Libra Full Moon - "Protective Balm": Embracing and protective, this essence does not crowd as it comforts. Its energy creates an expansive, safe domain where it is all right to let go of worries and fears...to rest a while...to refuel...to heal. This big, round, soothing balm permits feelings of self-worth and adventure to re-emerge after what might have been long hiding. What had seemed insurmountable and suffocating beforehand doesn't even look like a problem from this secure vantage point. We can remember finally that there is help when we need it...that in the end, everything will be all right.
Scorpio Full Moon - "Cosmic Jokester": This buoyant, sprightly essence has all the uplift of the early May day during which it was made. A release from worry, cares, and burdens is replaced by a fun-loving enthusiasm. But don't make the error of thinking this essence is all surface and no substance. The fool or nave is a mythological character who shows the true depth of the matter by stripping away the unimportant, serious details, revealing the comedy of being human. A good dose of humor lends perspective to both lofty and practical matters.
Sagittarius Full Moon - "Order Revealed": This essence sees with a new perspective. The interconnectedness between all things and the reality of wholeness are affirmed as old patterns and views are broken up. Acceptance of the mystery of life and trust in the Divine order are 0000empowered by stepping back for a bigger view...stepping back into the unknown! Accepting our ignorance can be a huge relief: for some, a giddy excitement. For others, it may be jarring at first because the old perspectives simply do not work. The result may seem like a loss of focus. But with patience, what seems like a shortcoming might actually come to be understood as a blessing. Old habits of worry and anxiety are released to reveal a fresh and bright outlook.
Capricorn Full Moon - "Home Fires": Come inside from the sometimes cold, harsh world and sit by the comforting fire of home. Shake off your cares and remember how good it is to quietly rest close to the hearth. This essence knows how to come home again after a tough time in the expanse of the outside world. Home also means the world inside us, reminding us the firm base of our internal shelter. Simple, basic values and traditions stem from the asylum of the home fire, keeping us nourished when we next have to brave the outside world.
Aquarius Full Moon - "Open Mind": This essence has no room for narrow thoughts, set-in-concrete ideas, or prejudiced preconceptions. It is in harmony with what the mainstream might call alternative lifestyles. This open mindedness is part of how we accept the parts of ourselves and others which insist on traveling off the beaten path. Being open minded also means the possibility of accepting a more traditional approach, too, as all possibilities are valued and revered.
Pisces Full Moon - "Vibrant Senses": We receive many small and large sensory inputs every moment; information which we must process centrally in order to interpret correctly. Out of these interpretations grow reactions, feelings, and meaning. But our gathering equipment (eyes, ears, nose, etc.) can become dulled by old habits and patterns leading to false interpretations and misperceptions. This essence knows only clear and vibrant reception. The senses come alive to new information, perhaps we could have seen all along if we had not become too jaded to notice. Message received, loud and clear!
